Foremetrics Review for Dutch Investors (2026): Pros and Cons
A note first: this overview is written by the Foremetrics team. We've tried to be straight about what the product does well and where it doesn't fit. For independent opinions, read our reviews on Trustpilot.
The short version
Foremetrics is a stock research and portfolio workspace built in Amsterdam. It combines financial data, an editable DCF, Bear/Base/Bull projections, a screener and multi-currency portfolio tracking in one plan for €8.90 a month or €89 a year.
It suits Dutch investors who want to value stocks themselves and see their whole portfolio in euros. It's less suited to investors who want ready-made stock picks or decades of raw data.
What Foremetrics is, and who it's for
Foremetrics brings together the research steps most investors spread across several sites: reading financials, checking analyst estimates, valuing the company, comparing it with peers and tracking the position afterwards.
It's built for self-directed individual investors: people who pick their own stocks, hold them for months or years, and want to understand what they own. You don't need a finance degree, but you should be willing to make your own assumptions rather than follow someone else's ratings.
What stands out for Dutch investors
- Priced in euros. One plan at €8.90/month or €89/year. No dollar exchange rate or foreign card fees on top, unlike most US research tools.
- Multi-currency portfolio. If you hold US stocks next to European ones, My Portfolio adds them up correctly, so you see your position in the currency you actually spend.
- A Dutch company under EU rules. Foremetrics is based in Amsterdam (Le Mairekade 77) and operates under GDPR. Analytics cookies are only used if you accept them (see the privacy policy).
- Valuation that fits box 3. Box 3 currently taxes a deemed return on your investments every year, whether you sell or not. That makes it more important to hold things you've actually valued. The Custom DCF and Projection tabs help you do that.
- Tokenized stocks. If you hold tokenized versions of listed shares, they're tracked alongside the underlying listing, so they're not left out of your totals.

Pros and cons
What works well
- Editable DCF and Bear/Base/Bull projections on every stock, not a separate calculator
- Research and portfolio in one place, so every holding links to its valuation
- Multi-currency portfolio tracking, including tokenized stocks
- One simple euro price, with a 14-day trial and no card
- EU-based company operating under GDPR
Where it falls short
- Data breadth. Platforms like TIKR or GuruFocus offer longer histories and more exotic data.
- No ready-made picks. If you want someone to tell you what to buy, this isn't it. You make the assumptions.
- Fewer articles and opinions. Sites like Seeking Alpha or IEX Premium offer far more written analysis.
- Learning curve on valuation. The Custom DCF is only as good as your inputs. Our DCF guide helps, but it takes some practice.
Who should, and shouldn't, use it
A good fit if you:
- pick individual stocks and hold them for the long term
- want to know what a company is worth, not just what others think
- hold a mix of US and European stocks and want one view in euros
- want research and portfolio tracking for under €100 a year
Probably not for you if you:
- only buy broad index ETFs and rarely look at individual companies
- trade intraday and need real-time charting and order tools
- prefer to follow a newsletter's picks rather than do your own analysis
